Heute wäre Dylan Thomas, der große walisische Dichter, Trinker und erste Popstar der Poesie, 96 Jahre alt geworden. Dylan Thomas wurde am 27. November 1914 in Swansea, Wales geboren und starb am 9. November 1953 in New York. Dylan hat in seinem kurzen bewegten Leben viele großartige Gedichte geschrieben und großen Einfluss auf Leute wie Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger und die Beatles gehabt. Er gilt als einer der einflussreichsten Poeten des 20. Jahrhunderts und hat uns auch ein paar schöne Zitate hinterlassen:
